Different Types of Wedding Veils

It is important to choose a wedding dress. But don't ignore the veils. A bridal veil should be selected based on factors that include the shape of the bride's face and the style of the wedding dress. Here I will introduce the types of wedding veils. Hope it will useful for you.
Cathedral
Also known as The Royal Veil, this is the most formal of wedding veil style. Measuring 3 1/2-yards from the headpiece to the bottom edge, the Cathedral Veil is appropriate for weddings that take place in elegant venues such as cathedrals, as the name implies.
Chapel
Not quite as long and elegant as the Cathedral Ceil, the Chapel's length is 2 1/2-yards from the headpiece. Although its length doesn't allow for a flowing train effect, it still reaches to the ground and is appropriate matched to a formal dress.
Fingertip
This versatile style extends to the bride's fingertips. The length works with a variety of styles, including more contemporary ball gown dresses.
Bouffant
The Bouffant first came into vogue in the 1950s as a counter to the voluminous, crinoline dresses in style at the time. These veils were once commonly paired with elaborate headpieces, but are currently worn without them for a cleaner, more modern look.
Mantilla
The Mantilla is a Spanish-styled lace veil that frames the bride's face. It is often worn secured with a comb. Chantilly lace is a popular fabric for the Mantilla Veil.
Blusher
The Blusher is a single layer of veiling worn over the bride's face, which can then be flipped back. This veil usually falls no longer than to the bride's waist, so it doesn't crowd the bride's flowers.
Flyaway
This is a multi-layered veil that just brushes the bride's shoulders. It is considered suitable for more informal and shorter wedding dress styles. Its own short length assures that it will not detract from features on the dress.
Ballerina
Also known as a "Waltz Length Veil," this style is usually made of tulle, and falls somewhere between the bride's knees and the ankles. This is a bolder, angled look that can add shape to the silhouette of a form-fitted gown.
Three Piece or Double Tier
This style features layers of different lengths within one veil, usually a Blusher, a wrist-length layer, and a Cathedral. Some contemporary versions of the three piece are built so the Cathedral layer is attached with Velcro, and can be removed for the reception.
